On June 9th, I met Brooklyn — and my life shifted.
She had been sitting at the kennel after having a litter. Her owners weren’t coming back. They had decided they couldn’t keep her.
So I stepped in.

The moment I brought her home, I could see she needed help. She was shedding like I’d never seen before. Her coat was dull, her frame too thin. She looked nothing like my dog, Brock — and I knew right away she hadn’t been getting the nutrition she needed.
